KELP stimulates natural Cleansing

Numerous studies have shown that alginates from brown algae (Fucus and Ascophyllum nodosum) - salts of alginic acid – are the most effective minerals in binding and removal of toxins, including ALCOHOLheavy metals and radioactive contaminants from the human body. Radioactive contaminants: in 1987, the American Society of Nuclear Physics produced a report which noted that the calcium alginate evacuates radioactive strontium by up to 80%. Special experiments showed that calcium alginate has associated 100% of uranium, thorium and 98% of americium during 24 hours. It also has associates the barium, lanthanum, zirconium and ruthenium. The effectiveness of the elimination of strontium, cerium and cesium is also very high.

 

Scientists have discovered previously unknown properties of sodium alginate - therapeutic and preventative effects on the body in terms of external exposure.

How does this work?

Alginic acid, as well as other polymers, is insoluble in water and  in most organic solvents. But its salts  – alginates – have rather different properties. Alginates of potassium, sodium or magnesium form viscous water  solutions. But alginates of calcium, zinc or iron are not soluble in water at all. Alginates evacuate  heavy metals (lead, mercury, etc.) from the body: the cations of strontium (Sr), lead (Pb), barium (Ba), cesium (Cs) are replaced by cations of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sodium (Na), potassium (K) of the alginates. As the kelp fibre (alginates) is not digested by the human body it is therefor ejected by the intestines.

The mechanism of antiradiation action of sodium alginate is based on its specific effect on the cell membranes of blood, mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines: it dramatically increases their  resistance to damaging factors.
